Review of MMORPG Popular Classes

Years go by, and the MMORPG’s massive online multiplayer role-playing games remain as active as ever. These titles treasure a great success – especially among young audiences – and we see more and more games of this kind, also on a console. But what is the best MMORPG today? We review the best MMORPG of the moment.

For those of you who do not know the term, an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) are online role-playing games that allow a massive number of players to enter a virtual world simultaneously and interact with each other.

In most MMORPG mechanics consists of creating an avatar to our liking, being able to choose between different races or species. Once we have our character, we can raise levels and improve the character, his abilities, and weapons. This is done through various missions that can range from classic history missions to famous “”raids”” or raids, where we face a dungeon (boss included) in the company of other players.

  • World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft is the king of online games on PC and indeed remains one of the best MMORPG we can play today.

For those of you who do not know it, the operation is simple: we create an avatar selected from various classes and races. And then, we have the world of Azeroth at our disposal, where we can confront the beings that inhabit the place or other players, with whom we can also interact. The stories within the game are very diverse, and we will find a lot of variety.

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic

Star Wars: The Old Republic is an online role-playing game developed by Bioware (Anthem, Dragon Age) and set in the Star Wars franchise. The plot takes us to the era of the ancient republic, 3600 years from the events of the first film of the saga.

History consists of the emergence of a new Sith Empire that attempts to conquer the Jedi planet, and they are forced to sign a peace agreement. But the tensions between the two sides continue to flourish, and the Sith continue to do what they are best given: evil.

In the game, we can choose which side to serve and live battles against their enemies for various planets of the Star Wars saga. History is the strong point of the game, as the fighting is somewhat slow (it has poorly aged) and the technical section is better. It started as a subscription game, but it currently features a free-to-play business model, so if you like Star Wars, don’t hesitate to give it a try.

  • Guild Wars 2

One of the main competitors of the world of Warcraft as king of the MMORPG is undoubtedly Guild Wars 2. Developed by ArenaNet, it is a title that takes us into the world of Tyria to live an adventure with endless dangers. The player can create his character from five races and embark on a wide-open world.

Guild Wars 2 offers us the essence of the best MMORPG without monthly installments, with a very complete and fun PVP fighting system (player vs. player, or player vs. player). It was released in 2012 for PC, both Windows and Mac OS.
